This directory contains applications written specifically for particular
versions of Unix.

You will find sources to many contributed applications in the various 2BSD
distributions in the archive. Note that many of these will be difficult to
back-port to earlier versions of Unix (e.g 6th & 7th Edition).

Other places to look for Unix software are the on-line archives of the
comp.sources.unix USENET newsgroup. One such archive is at
